Payment of overtime for authorised attendance is excess of 184 hours in any period of four weeks may be made to officers of the junior executive and high clerical grades which are the highest eligible for overtime. The maximum salary payable in these grades is £525 a year. The rate of overtime payable to officers with salaries from £500 to £525 a year varies from 4s. 7d. to 5s. an hour. These conditions are common throughout the Civil Service.
