HC Deb 23 July 1942 vol 382 c189W
Mr. David Adams

asked the Minister of Health whether, where no staff superannuation scheme exists, an approved society, under the National Health Insurance Acts Regulations, may make a grant out of administration funds, based on years of service, to the widows of late members of their staff?

Mr. E. Brown

No, Sir. An approved society could not properly make to the widow of a deceased member of their staff a grant out of the funds available for administration.
