HC Deb 02 July 1942 vol 381 c525W
Mr. Granville

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will consider postponing the requisition order for a certain area in East Anglia another fortnight, which will enable the crops to be cut and stocked in neighbouring parishes and thereby saved for the country's food supply?

Sir J. Grigg

I regret that I cannot consider any further postponement beyond the date notified to my hon. Friend in the answer which I give him on 23rd June.
