HC Deb 18 February 1942 vol 377 c1810W
Mr. David Adams

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that repeated applications by Mr. David Cade, 2 Westhaven, Consett, for compensation for war damage to his allotment occasioned many months ago, and agreed to by an official valuer, in spite of further applications by the hon. Member for Consett, remain unsettled; and whether he will direct the matter to be concluded?

Sir K. Wood

I am asking the War Damage Commission to make inquiries and as soon as I hear the result I will write to the hon. Member on the subject of the claim to which he refers.
