HC Deb 04 February 1942 vol 377 c1204W
Mr. Bossom

asked the Minister of Health whether he intends to submit proposals to the House for the revision of building laws and regulations to enable modern methods and materials to be legally used in post-war construction?

Miss Horsbrugh

As my hon. Friend will remember, the provincial Law on this subject has been substantially recast since the Public Health Act, 1936, came into force. The special Acts of the London County Council have also been revised by Parliament in the same period. My right hon. Friend is, however, carefully watching all developments of method and material in collaboration with my Noble Friend the Minister of Works and Buildings.
