§ Mr. W. A. Robinsonasked the Minister of Pensions, further to his letter, reference W/WH. 126179, dated 19th December, to the hon. Member for St. Helens, about the refusal of an application for a disability pension made by Mr. Kenneth Baxlie,1, Eccleston Gardens, St. Helens, whether he will reconsider his decision, keeping in mind the fact that this ex-soldier enjoyed good health and was able to perform heavy work prior to his Army service whereas he is now unable to follow such employment or take up any similar occupation?
§ Sir W. WomersleyAs I explained in my letter of the 19th December to the hon. Member, this case was fully reviewed by two independent medical experts who were unanimously of opinion that the man's condition could not be held to be due to or affected in any way by his military service. I am sorry therefore that there is not further action I can take.
