HC Deb 16 December 1942 vol 385 c1959W
Mr. De la Bère

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will have inquiries made into the circumstances under which Miss Doris Sadler, of 112, Rectory Lane, Tooting, S.W.17, who has been for six years with a chemical manufacturing undertaking and who is medically unfit for service with the women's forces, has been instructed to report for general duty in a Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes canteen; and whether he will direct the attention of the appropriate authorities to the tact that this girl has been trained to deal with poisons and drugs, the manufacture of which is a national necessity, and ask them to investigate the matter further?

Mr. Bevin

I am having full inquiries made and will communicate with my hon. Friend.
