§ Sir J. GriggThe fact that the wife has deserted her husband and has ceased to draw family allowance will not in future bar the issue of children's allowance in respect of children living with her. Special precautions will be taken in such cases to ensure that the allowance is properly spent on the children. It is not possible, without extensive inquiries, to say how many children will be affected.
