Mr. H. Morrison

These cases were finally disposed of at Wimbledon Petty Sessions on the 29th August. Of the nine men charged, three were convicted of receiving stolen property, two of them being sentenced to three months' imprisonment and the third to a fine of £20. Of the remaining six, one was bound over on a charge of stealing by finding, three were fined £5 and two were fined £10 on charges under the Motor Fuel Rationing Order, 1941. In the case of these six men, the charges mentioned were preferred subsequently to the date of their original appearance in court.
