HC Deb 09 September 1941 vol 374 cc41-2W
Sir J. Lucas

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to Ministry of Works and Buildings, whether he has any further statement to make with regard to fishing in the Royal parks?

Mr. Hicks

It has been decided that, as an experiment, facilities for fishing might be allowed over a short stretch of the Serpentine in Hyde Park. Arrangements are accordingly being made for the amendment of the regulations to give effect to this decision and the revised regulations will be laid before both Houses in due course.
