§ Captain MargessonI regret that complete and up-to-date information as to the pay of Dominion and Colonial Forces is not available. Foreign nationals serving in the British Army receive pay at British rates. The pay of Dominion Forces is borne by the Dominions concerned. Normally, the pay of Colonial local Forces is met by the colony or, if met from United Kingdom funds, a contribution is made by the colony. Forces recruited from the Colonies for the British Army are paid from United Kingdom funds.
