§ Sir W. WomersleyThe records of the Ministry do not classify cases according as they were enlisted on the outbreak of war, or were already in the Forces, or were territorials or reservists. But in all some 27,000 claims have been rejected on the ground that they were neither attributable to nor materially aggravated by service. I am advised that it would not be in the public interest to state the total number of discharges.
