HC Deb 04 March 1941 vol 369 cc785-6W
Mr. Bellenger

asked the Home Secretary whether he can assure all those interested in the ancient charter or other fairs that they will be in no way prejudiced by the temporary cessation of such fairs during the war?

Mr. H. Morrison

I am in sympathy with my hon. Friend's anxiety about this matter and am considering whether any action may be necessary to safeguard the rights of fairs. If my hon. Friend has any particular fair in mind perhaps he will communicate with me.
