§ Sir W. WomersleyI presume that the hon. Member is referring to the extensions to the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the 18th December last. An amending scheme to give effect to these concessions is in active preparation and will be laid shortly. In the meantime, however, the concessions have been put into operation, with effect from the 24th December, 1940.
