SinclairThe regulation providing that officers under 30 years of age shall receive marriage allowance, though at a lower rate than those over 30, applies to the Army and the Royal Navy as well as to the Royal Air Force. This arrangement was introduced at the beginning of the war after most careful consideration of the problem in all its bearings, and I know of no cogent reason for its modification.
