Major Lloyd GeorgeMy Noble Friend is not aware of the charges which the Corporation of Hull propose to make for their emergency meals, but he recognises that the cost of meals on the scale suggested should be much lower than in the case of normal community kitchens supplying a relatively small number of meals. The supply of meat for emergency meals is a matter that must depend upon conditions at the time of the emergency.
