§ Mr. Gallacherasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he has considered a resolution from the Methil Co-operative Society, protesting in the name of its members against the proposal to allocate sugar for jam making to communal centres and demanding, however small the quantity, that it should be distributed according to the ration book, through the ordinary trade channels, and thereby allow the consumers to make their own jams according to their own desires; and what steps does he propose to take to meet the demands of the resolution?
