§ The Attorney-GeneralMy Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor has referred certain questions in connection with the appointment of justices of the peace to His Majesty's lieutenant of the county, and my Noble Friend will inquire what, if any, changes in the method of appointment of magistrates are desirable.
