HC Deb 04 March 1940 vol 358 c40W
Mr. Boyce

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the heavy war-time demand for wool and the necessity to conserve supplies, he will consider inaugurating a scheme under which woollen comforts supplied to the Forces overseas could be voluntarily surrendered and collected at the end of the cold season in order to be sterilised and stored for reissue next winter?

Mr. Stanley

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for North Croydon (Lieut.-Colonel Mason) on 28th February.
