§ Mr. ButlerSir Samuel Hoare assumed charge of His Majesty's Embassy at Madrid on 1st June and presented his credentials to General Franco on 8th June. He has been twice received by General Franco and is actively fulfilling his mission at interviews with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and other leading personalities.
