asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware that mixed meals are now being sold for pig feeding, the ingredients of which cannot be ascertained by the purchasers; and, as they are giving unsatisfactory results, will he cause careful inquiries to be made by his Department?

Certain safeguards in the interests of the purchaser of a mixed meal are contained in the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Act and in the Feeding Stuffs (Maximum Prices) Order, 1940. If the hon. Member will let me have particulars of the cases he refers to I will have inquiries made
