§ Mr. R. S. HudsonA new Anglo-Turkish Trade and Payments Agreement was signed on 3rd February and will shortly be laid before the House. It consolidates the several Agreements regulating Anglo-Turkish trade which were previously in force. It is hoped that there will be a considerable development of trade between the two countries. As regards the latter part of the Question, I understand that the Turkish Government are doing everything in their power to promote Anglo-Turkish trade.
