Kensley, No. 10124, D Company, 7th and 12th Home Defence Battalion, Queen's Royal Regiment, a veteran of the Great War, who volunteered for the Home Defence Force at the age of 49, on 25th August, 1939, and who, after a period of illness, commencing on 3rd January, was summarily discharged from the Service while still in a military hospital and the allowance to his wife stopped at the same time?
