Mr. LindsayI am not yet in a position to state the estimated number of children now in the London County Council area and the number who have been evacuated and remain evacuated. Certain steps which might be taken to provide education for those still in evacuation areas were suggested in the Board's Circular No. 1479, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy. I understand that the550W London County Council have these suggestions under consideration and have already put some of them into effect in certain parts of their area.
