HC Deb 04 October 1939 vol 351 c1985W
Sir A. Baillie

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware of the complaints of overcharging for poultry feeding-stuffs made by representative poultry-keepers in this country; and what steps he is taking to keep such prices within r limits?

Sir R. Dorman-Smith:

I am aware that some poultry-keepers have complained of the prices that they have been asked to pay for poultry feeding stuffs. The Feeding Stuffs (Maximum Prices) Order made by the Minister of Food on 29th September lays down maximum prices that they may be charged for a wide range of feeding stuffs and will, I hope, remove the grounds for the complaints to which my hon. Friend refers.
