§ Mr. Glenvil Hallasked the Attorney-General whether he will take action to ensure that men called to the Colours shall have the same protection in respect of goods purchased under hire-purchase agreements as was granted to the Militia?
§ The Attorney-GeneralI would refer the hon. Member to the Courts (Emergency Powers) Act, 1939. This Act is wide enough to cover the subject-matter1852W of hire-purchase agreements made before the war and gives a protection which is, in effect, similar to that given under the Military Training Act.
