§ Sir J. Wardlaw-Milneasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that members of the Army Officers Emergency Reserve have in many cases been placed in categories to which they are unsuited; and, as volunteers were entitled to suggest a category of their own choosing, whether he will arrange that the new interviewing boards will be authorised to alter a member's category if that member so desires?
§ Mr. Hore-BelishaMembers of the Army Officers Emergency Reserve will inform the interviewing boards in which arm they wish to serve. The interviewing boards are instructed to make recommendations as to the arm or branch of 279W the Service in which each reserve officer could most suitably be employed, and the War Office will follow these recommendations so far as requirements allow.
