HC Deb 21 November 1939 vol 353 cc1051-2W
Mr. A. Herbert

asked the Minister of Supply whether, observing the shortage of paper, he will recommend, especially to the Defence Services, that the practice of demanding returns in triplicate, quadruplicate, and even sextuplicate be moderated, and wherever possible, abandoned?

Mr. Burgin

The steps to be taken in each Department to secure economy are, of course, a matter for the Department concerned.
