HC Deb 21 November 1939 vol 353 cc1041-2W
Mr. R. Duckworth

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will investigate the complaint of Messrs. Waller and Hartley, of Blackpool, that their normal supply of best Danish butter, essential to the manufacture of high-class confectionery, was taken over by his Department and in its place they were supplied with a low-grade product which made its use in manufacture impossible if the reputation of the firm was to be maintained with a view to avoiding action of the kind in future?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

Yes, Sir, if the firm will communicate to me the necessary particulars.
