HC Deb 14 November 1939 vol 353 cc583-4W
Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will hasten the promised opening of an Unemployment Assistance Board office to serve the needs of the Romford Parliamentary division and neighbourhood, in view of the distance those suffering from war injuries will have to travel to make claims under the Personal Injuries Act, 1939, and subsequent regulations?

Mr. E. Brown

I am informed by the Unemployment Assistance Board that an office of the Board was opened at 87, North Street, Romford, Essex, on Monday, 9th October, 1939.
