HC Deb 09 November 1939 vol 353 c446W
Major Mills

asked the Minister of Labour whether the domestic servants in a private country house are obliged to pay for unemployment insurance if they remain at their posts when the house is taken over by a county council as an emergency maternity hospital under the evacuation scheme?

Mr. E. Brown

If the hon. Member will supply me with the necessary particulars of the case which he has in mind I will consider it and communicate with him further.
