HC Deb 09 November 1939 vol 353 c432W
Colonel Baldwin-Webb

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the number of new official schemes revolutionising the ordinary life of the community, he will arrange for Parliament to sit on at least four days a week, so that these changes may have more adequate discussion?

Sir S. Hoare

My right hon. Friend does not think that it is necessary to adopt an arrangement on the lines suggested by my hon. and gallant Friend.
