HC Deb 02 November 1939 vol 352 c2138W
Sir E. Makins

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what arrangements have been made to maintain and stimulate the production of regional types of cheese in Great Britain during the war, with a view to satisfying the public demand for cheese from home sources so far as possible?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I am considering the position in regard to cheese and will bear in mind the question of regional types which my hon. and gallant Friend mentions. On the general question of production I would refer to the reply which I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend on the 1st November.
