HC Deb 25 May 1939 vol 347 c2519W
Mr. Mander

asked the Prime Minister what reports have been received by the League of Nations from the High Commissioner at Danzig with reference to the position there?

The Prime Minister

The High Commissioner has been in direct contact at Geneva with the Committee of Three appointed by the Council to follow the situation in Danzig. After a meeting on 23rd May the committee authorised the issue of a statement to the effect that it had decided to ask the High Commissioner to return to Danzig for the purpose of making a report on the situation.
