§ Mr. Manderasked the Prime Minister what reports have been received by the League of Nations from the High Commissioner at Danzig with reference to the position there?
§ The Prime MinisterThe High Commissioner has been in direct contact at Geneva with the Committee of Three appointed by the Council to follow the situation in Danzig. After a meeting on 23rd May the committee authorised the issue of a statement to the effect that it had decided to ask the High Commissioner to return to Danzig for the purpose of making a report on the situation.
