asked the Lord Privy Seal whether any steps are being taken to purge the lists of air-raid precautions workers of the names of those who have enrolled but who have not taken further steps to train or make themselves effective in the branch of air-raid precautions work for which they have enrolled?

This is a matter to which I expect local authorities to pay very close attention, and I have no reason to think that they are not doing so.
