HC Deb 11 May 1939 vol 347 c706W
Mr. Leach

asked the Prime Minister whether the terms of the military undertaking given to Poland are such as would oblige this country to go to war in her support if she were resisting some claim that His Majesty's Government held to be not unreasonable?

Mr. Butler

I would refer the hon. Member to the statements which were made by the Prime Minister on 31st March and 6th April concerning the assurance given by His Majesty's Government to Poland, to which I have nothing to add.
