(a) The value of imported wheat relates to the calendar year. Home production relates to the harvest of the year stated, and sales of millable wheat and deficiency payments relate to the cereal year beginning on the 1st August of the year stated.
(b) The values of imported wheat exclude import duty. Under the Ottawa Agreement No. 1 Order, 1932, operative from 17th November, 1932, until 31st December, 1938, imports of wheat from foreign countries were charged with a duty of 2s. per qr. equivalent to 5s. 6d. per cwt.
(c) These figures will not be available until after the close of the cereal year, i.e., after 31st July, next.
