HC Deb 14 March 1939 vol 345 c231W
Colonel Ponsonby

asked the Prime Minister whether the plan for the evacuation of 400,000 Jews from Germany, put before the Evian Committee by the Nazi Government, prescribes the countries to which they may be sent for settlement; and, if there are any reserves, will he state their nature?

Mr. Butler

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, and the second part does not therefore arise.
