HC Deb 09 March 1939 vol 344 c2377W
Mr. Parker

asked the First Commissioner of Works whether he can give immediate instructions that the re-housing of the office of His Majesty's Inspector of Taxes, 27–28, George Street, Richmond, Surrey, should take place at once, in view of the fact that a scheme has been already agreed as satisfactory and the work is at the moment being unnecessarily held up?

Sir P. Sassoon

The office of His Majesty's Inspector of Taxes will be transferred from 27–28, George Street, Richmond, as soon as arrangements, which are now under consideration, can be satisfactorily completed. I am giving instructions for the mattter to be dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
