asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will state what sum was awarded as compensation to the owner of Ringwolde Farm, Wallop, Hampshire, for compulsory disturbance?

The arbitration proceedings in respect of the acquisition of Ringwolde Farm, Wallop, Hampshire, by my Department resulted in the claimant being awarded the sum of £13,501 13s. in full settlement of his claim, subject to a payment to the Air Ministry of £105 towards costs and the payment of fees (£133 19s.) on the arbitrator's award. In addition, the Air Ministry is paying an agreed sum of £90 7s respect of an item not covered by the arbitration proceedings.
