§ Mr. Hillsasked the Minister of Health whether he will give consideration to the proposal to erect a central casual ward at Rawcliffe by the West Riding County Council, and to the strong protest that has been made against this proposal by the Rawcliffe Parish Council and the resident local government electors on the grounds that it would spoil the amenities of the village, the proposed site is unsuitable, and existing conditions are fully adequate to meet present-day needs?
§ Mr. ElliotI informed the Rawcliffe Parish Council on the 12th June that,2464W after careful consideration of their representations, I did not feel justified in withholding my consent to the county council's proposals, and I have issued to the county council my formal sanction to the appropriation of the site for the purpose proposed.
