§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe number of new industrial undertakings established or in the course of being established in the Special Areas of Durham and Tyneside outside the Team Valley Estate with assistance from the Commissioner for the Special Areas under the Special Areas (Amendment) Act, 1937, is 19. Negotiations are proceeding in other cases. In addition a number of new industrial undertakings have been attracted to the area by reason of the facilities available for the provision of capital.
