Mr. LindsayThe Board confirmed in December, 1936, a compulsory purchase order for the acquisition of a site of 4.712 acres for school purposes off Apple Avenue, Bexley. The land was acquired on 13th December, 1938, at a price of £4,665. The land had previously been used for agricultural purposes and was not assessed for rates.
