HC Deb 15 February 1939 vol 343 c1741W
Sir G. Fox

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the new proposals for increasing imports of cheap German motor cars into this country; and whether he is satisfied that the provisions in the Finance Act are sufficient to enable the British industry to obtain additional protection against such competition without delay if the need arises?
