asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department what action he proposes to take, under the Export Guarantees Bill, in the direction of giving grants to China?

My right hon. Friend's attention has been drawn to a newspaper report of proposals for the export of cheap German motor cars to this country in 1941. The answer to the second part of the question is in the affirmative.
