§ Mr. W. R. Duckworthasked the Minister of Health whether he can state the number of one-roomed flatlets suitable either for the working class or middle classes which have been built with State subsidy in the last five years?
§ Mr. ElliotIn the five years ended 31st December last, the erection of some 27,000 subsidised small dwelling-houses, having only one bedroom, was approved. The statistics do not in every case specify the type of dwelling, but it is known that at least 5,600 are flats.
