Mr. Emmott

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether his attention has been called to the fact that many members of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force have not yet been able to obtain their uniform; and if he will take measures to terminate this state of affairs as soon as possible.

Owing to the rapid expansion of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force it is the case that all members have not yet received their full uniform. The deficiencies are being remedied as speedily as possible.
