§ Mr. Tinkerasked the Secretary for Mines whether he has considered a communication from the secretary of the Lancashire Miners' Federation stating the reasons why it is desired that an inquiry should be held under Section 83 of the Coal Mines Act, 1911, into the cause of the accident at Astley Green collieries on 6th June, which resulted in the loss of five lives; and, in view of this appeal and the nature of the evidence at the inquest, will he consider granting an inquiry under Section 83?
