asked the Prime Minister how many countries are now members of the League of Nations; how many countries have left the League since 1931; and how many nations have given notice to leave the League?

Fifty-four States are now members of the League of Nations. The following countries have left the League since 1931: Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Japan, Nicaragua and Paraguay. The following countries have given notice to leave the League: Albania, Chile, Hungary, Italy, Peru, Salvador and Venezuela.
