HC Deb 18 April 1939 vol 346 cc199-200W
Mr. T. Morris

asked the Minister of Transport whether he can make a statement as to what action the Government intends to take on the different recommendations of the Alness Report on the Prevention of Road Accidents; and whether these recommendations will be brought into operation before the rush of heavy traffic on the roads with the advent of spring?

Mr. Burgin

This report covers an immense field, makes very numerous recommendations and is receiving the study which it deserves. It is obviously not yet possible for me to go into details.
